Welcome to Villa Aroldi!

We are Anna and Henrik. After many years in Milan, we decided to make a big life change: we left city life to buy and restore an old, neglected Liberty-style villa in the beautiful Italian countryside. Honestly, we bought the house purely by chance, and a bit out of boredom during Covid lockdown – an impulsive decision that has turned into the greatest adventure of our lives. Now, we live outside Parma with our three dogs, Jimmy, Tony, and Rigatoni, making our dream of restoring this old house a reality. The guiding principle in all our renovations is to bring the villa back to its former glory, carefully preserving its history rather than altering it. Henrik, a numbers guy, and I, Anna, a historian and helper of all creatures, have now become builders, cleaners, plumbers, videographers, animal rescuers, and so much more. We’re passionate dog owners and are dedicated to helping animals in need. Stay tuned – there are definitely more stories to come!
